Sometimes performing other peoples’ words just isn’t enough. What do you want to say through the spoken word? This category is very much about quality, rather than quantity! Make sure that every word is carefully chosen and expresses something unique and powerful. A written copy of your poem should be sent to us at entries@oratoryfestival.com by 30 April 2023.

In the 12-14 Years category, you should perform your own composition lasting no more than 3 minutes, but long enough to show variation and skillful use of language.
