Put forward your own argument on your choice of a contemporary moral or ethical issue, lasting 5 minutes.
Talk about “an issue facing young people today” in an informative speech lasting 5 minutes.
You’ll speak for 4 minutes on an exciting general interest topic which will be given to you by the festival organisers 10 minutes before you speak. This is the perfect category for everyone who likes debating or thinking on your feet.
